Spike’s tattoo competition series Ink Master proved to be a bonafide hit with our increasingly gender balanced audience. From its success came a slew of other tattoo-themed reality shows. Tattoo Nightmares was one of them.

Talking tattoos with recurring nightmares and identity issues was our way into a reality show about cover up tattoos. In the first spot below, the VO artist pronounced “Charlene” with a hard ‘C’ — a happy accident that, according to extensive focus group testing, made the spot 11.384% funnier.
